Working to Find Ways to Reduce Selenium In Our Locally Affected Waterways

The Selenium Task Forces have received funding from diverse sources to: characterize selenium loading sources and mechanisms, study the effects of changing land use, demonstrate the use of phytoremediation to remove selenium from soils and water, develop Best Management Practices for selenium reduction, and test the use of passive selenium bioreactors, to name a few.  See below for a complete list of our projects.
